Explore your Medicare coverage options

There is no one size fits all approach to Medicare. I’ll help you understand the different types of coverage, how they work, and what may matter when comparing your options.

Coverage options worth understanding

Each type of coverage works differently. Your doctors, prescriptions, preferred hospitals, budget, healthcare needs, and personal priorities can all matter when deciding which options deserve a closer look.

Medicare Supplement plans work alongside Original Medicare Parts A and B to help cover some of the out of pocket costs Medicare leaves behind, such as deductibles, coinsurance, and copayments. They do not include prescription drug coverage.

One of the biggest advantages of Medigap is freedom and flexibility. There are no provider networks, so you can receive care from any doctor or hospital nationwide that accepts Medicare.

Medicare Supplement plans are standardized, meaning the benefits of the same lettered plan are generally the same regardless of which insurance company offers it. Premiums, rate history, discounts, and other company features can vary, so it is important to look beyond the initial price.

Some of the options I most commonly help clients explore include:

  • Plan G
  • Plan N
  • High Deductible Plan G
  • Innovative Plan G

You must be enrolled in Medicare Parts A and B to purchase a Medicare Supplement plan.

The details matter more than the plan name.

When I help you compare coverage, I look at the things that actually affect you. Your doctors, prescriptions, preferred hospitals, budget, healthcare needs, and priorities all matter. I’ll help you understand the differences and the tradeoffs so you can make an educated decision.
